The Friends of Tuxedo Park Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports the goals and mission of the Tuxedo Park Library. The purpose of Friends is to maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries; to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs, and to stimulate gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments and bequests.
The support of the Friends allows the Library to offer programs and materials that would otherwise not be possible. In the past Friends have sponsored programs on the work of Winslow Homer for adults and Singable Stories from Around the World for kids. Last year Friends purchased new chairs, a projection screen and podium for the Library's program room.
Membership is open to all residents of the Town of Tuxedo. Please become an active volunteer in the Friends of the Tuxedo Park Library. Regular meetings are held quarterly in September, December, April and June.
