Just for Kids

The Tuxedo Park Library offers a newly renovated, warm and inviting children’s room. Enjoy our new comfortable seating area with your children as well as our new computers. The computer area has two internet stations along with two touch screen early literacy stations with a large selection of preloaded software for various ages.

Our children’s collection includes everything from board books, picture books (now arranged by subject area with picture labels for ease of selection by children), and early readers to an extensive collection of current and classic fiction for older readers. The room also has a growing collection of non-fiction as well as books on cd, music CDs, DVDs/Blu-rays, magazines and various types of video games.

While your children are exploring, parents can browse our diverse parenting collection. The parenting collection includes over 200 items and focuses on parenting in relation to infants, children and teens.
