Presented by local historian and author Kevin Woyce
Manhattan’s first bridge, the wooden King’s Bridge, opened in 1693. Today, twenty bridges link the island to the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and to New Jersey.
Mr. Woyce will present original photographs, historic images and stories of Manhattan’s iconic bridges past and present and of the city they helped to shape.
