7th Annual Promenade Placemat Project
This will be the seventh year our community will come together to color and decorate placemats for Thanksgiving dinner at the Promenade Senior Center. Placemats can be taken home to color or be completed in the library. We will then laminate them and distribute to the Promenade.
Food Drive
Give back to your community this year by dropping off various nonperishable food items that we will distribute to the Community Food Pantry serving Suffern, Hillburn, Sloatsburg and Tuxedo.
Diaper Drive
We will be collecting diapers for the Diaper Bank of Orange Ulster Sullivan. There is a high need for sizes 3 – 7. Thanks to the efforts of the Orange County Library Association, a receptacle will be on our main floor to collect donations.
Please return all completed projects and bring all donations to the library by Friday, November 20th.
The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System.
