Founded in 1886, Tuxedo Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Gilded Age luminaries, including Waldorf Astor, Augustus Juilliard, and Emily Post lived there. J.P. Morgan and Cornelius Vanderbilt were members of the Tuxedo Club. Bruce Price, Carrère and Hastings, Frederick Law Olmsted’s sons, and John Russell Pope endowed the village with architectural masterpieces.
