
Rules for Borrowing Museum Passes
- 3 day loan period
- Limit of one pass per family at a time
- Overdue fines are $2.00/day with a maximum fine of $20
- $10 replacement charge for lost passes
- Reserves cannot be placed on museum passes
- Passes must be returned to the Tuxedo Park Library
It is recommended that patrons check each museum’s individual guidelines and visitor requirements before planning a visit.
Museum Passes and Vouchers are available at the Circulation Desk. The passes and vouchers circulate to adult Tuxedo Park Library cardholders in good standing.

American Museum of Natural History
Patrons receive vouchers for the American Museum of Natural History with a limit of four (4) vouchers or less per family every twelve months. These vouchers do not need to be returned and may be redeemed for free general admission and one (1) special exhibit of the visitor’s choosing. Certain museum restrictions may apply.


Boscobel House & Gardens
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. Pass allows for free admission for one (1) adult plus three (3) guests of any age. Additional children 12 and under are also free. Free admission includes gardens and grounds, woodland trail, house tours, and special exhibitions during regular business hours. Picnicking is permitted in designated areas. 10% discount in the gift shop. Invitations for two (2) adults to Members-only exhibition viewings. Access to members’ entrance for expedited admission. Pass holder and guests are required to sign in at front desk upon arrival and collect visitor badges. January through mid-April, Bosobel is open for select programs only.


Dia: Beacon
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. Membership card allows free admission to Dia: Beacon or Dia: Chelsea for one (1) cardholder and four (4) accompanying guest. Free admission for children 18 and under accompanied by the member and a 10% discount on Dia publications at our bookstore at Dia: Beacon.


NY State Empire Pass
The Empire Pass permits vehicle access (does not guarantee free entry when special events occur) to most facilities operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Guggenheim Museum
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. Membership card provides free express admission for up to four (4) adults or students, plus half-price admission for additional guests, 10% savings on-site and online at the Guggenheim Store and 25% discount during biannual Member Shopping Weeks. Children under 12 years of age are always free.


Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. Please note that both the pass and your library card must be presented for admission at Express Members only line. Membership card allows for free admission to the Museum Complex including admission to the Space Shuttle Pavilion and the submarine Growler for two (2) adults and two (2) children under the age of 18.


Opus 40 Sculpture Park and Museum
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. One library pass offers free admission for one (1) family of any size to Opus 40 for the day, throughout the 2023 Season. Hours, directions and guidelines can be found on the Opus 40 website.


Storm King Art Center
Patrons receive a pass packet that must be returned. One library pass offers free admission to Storm King for two (2) adults and four (4) children under age 18, living at the same address. Admission to member-only events. 10% discount on Museum Shop purchases, Storm King Cafe and bike rentals. December through April, Storm King has limited open hours.
