“Censorship is so 1984. Read for your rights.” Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. It brings together the entire book community in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas. Come into the library this week to check out some banned books and pick up some themed merch.
