Hybrid Summer Reading Program
“Unearth A Story”

July 8th – August 21st

The 2026 summer reading program will be both online and in person. Plus, an early literacy program for little ones: 1,000 Books to Read Before Kindergarten.

The online portion of the summer reading program will be available through READsquared. All you have to do is register! You can track your reading and complete self-guided activities to earn points for great prizes all summer long with our three age groups:

Kids Ages 0-8
Tweens Ages 9-13
Teens Ages 14-18 (Reading for the teen program must be logged exclusively in the READsquared online platform.)

Summer Reading Kickoff Day: Wednesday, July 8th

Join us to celebrate the start of Tuxedo Park Library’s summer reading program: Unearth a Story!

Summer Reading Registration
1pm – 5:30pm, ages 0 – 13

Ms. Olivia will be available to help register your child for summer reading and pick up reading log materials. Kids can also be registered anytime in person during the program. Every child will receive a book when they register. Thank You to Senator Skoufis for supporting this program!

Prize Wheel
1pm – 5:30pm, ages 0 – 18

Come spin the wheel to earn a prize. Prizes include: games, crafts, or treats! Limit one prize per person.
